#Toonies4Tummies Returns

One toonie. That’s all it takes to fill a tummy with a healthy meal. It’s for that reason our annual Toonies for Tummies fundraising campaign has been so successful in making a difference in the lives of children across Canada. Toonies for Tummies provides healthy breakfasts and/or mid-morning meals to hungry school-aged children in Ontario and Western Canada through school nutrition programs.

Hunger isn’t another country’s problem. It affects children right here in our backyards.

It’s estimated 1 in 5 Canadian children go to school hungry. In some communities that number is higher. Our efforts currently help feed over 1 million children through our student nutrition partners. In some regions existing programs lack funding in other regions programs are waiting on funding to open.

One of the best things about Toonies for Tummies is it helps improve the lives of children right in your community. Thanks to the support of our grocery partners and sponsors, 100% of all donations stay in the community where they’re made. That means you’ll be helping children right in your local area.
